Hari yang dinantikan sebagai besar mahasiswa, kamis 27 maret 2025 program studi ekonomi pembangunan menggelar sidang proposal skripsi dipimpin langsung Dr. H. Transna Putra Urip S, SE,.M.Si sebagai Ketua Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi & Agustina Ester Antoh, SE,M.Ec, Dev selaku Ketua Program studi ekonomi pembangunan Universitas Cenderawasih.
Sidang proposal skripsi, mahasiswa mendapatkan kritikan & masukan substantif terhadap objek & subjek rancangan proposal dari dosen penguji; Dr.Ida Ayu Purba Riani,SE.,M.Si; Dominggus Marei, SE.,M.Si; Dr.Richard Patty,SE.,M.Si; Agustina Ester Antoh,SE,M.Ec,Dev & Boy Piter Nizu Kekri,SE.,M.Si. Tidak hanya itu, ujian proposal memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap fenomena ilmu ekonomi.
Beberapa mahasiswa program studi S1 ekonomi pembangunan, mengusulkan ide & gagasan proposal penelitian, antara lain: (1) Yanianti Tonapa, fokus sektor pariwisata di rantepao & PAD; (2) Febiola Mende, fokus objek wisata di sentani yaitu bhulem mokho & bhanjibey; (3) Rio Mamawiso, fokus PAD, belanja modal & kinerja keuangan DKI Jakarta; (4) Alice Waromi, fokus POKIR DPR & APBD Kota Jayapura; (5) Bernadetha Lumban 
Gaol, fokus evaluasi ekonomi objek wisata Kota Jayapura; (6) Maria Hoar, fokus pertumbuhan ekonomi & kesempatan kerja Kota Jayapura; (7) Sartika, fokus retirbusi pasar & PAD Kota Jayapura; (8) Vanessa Pangke, fokus sektor industri kreatif & penyerapan kerja Provinsi Papua;
Pimpinan jurusan & program studi S1 ekonomi pembangunan, kami berharap melalui sidang proposal skripsi mahasiswwa kami mampu memberikan kontribusi intelektual terhadap teori ilmu ekonomi dan juga memberikan pengalaman studi empiris berkualitas & relevan, terlebih penting lagi dapat bermanfaat kehidupan mereka secara pribadi.
