Mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi FEB UNCEN Kunjungi Kantor DJPb Papua: Memperdalam Pemahaman Kebijakan Pengelolaan Fiskal
Jayapura, 30 September 2024 – Sejumlah mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi, Prodi Ekonomi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) Universitas Cenderawasih (UNCEN) melakukan kunjungan studi ke Kantor Direktorat Jenderal Perbendaharaan (DJPb) Provinsi Papua. Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya pemahaman para mahasiswa terkait peran Kementerian Keuangan dalam kebijakan pengelolaan Transfer Ke Daerah dalam kerangka desentralisasi fiskal.
Acara ini berlangsung di Gedung Keuangan Negara Papua, yang merupakan Kantor Perwakilan Kementerian Keuangan di wilayah Papua. Para mahasiswa mendapatkan kesempatan untuk berdiskusi langsung dengan para ahli terkait mekanisme pengelolaan dana transfer ke daerah dan pentingnya kebijakan fiskal yang adil dan tepat sasaran untuk mendukung pembangunan di wilayah Papua.
Kegiatan ini disambut dengan antusias oleh para mahasiswa yang melihatnya sebagai kesempatan penting untuk mendalami teori yang telah dipelajari di bangku kuliah serta mengaplikasikannya dalam konteks nyata di lapangan. Salah satu mahasiswa peserta menyatakan, “Kunjungan ini membuka wawasan kami tentang betapa pentingnya pengelolaan fiskal yang baik untuk mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat di daerah, terutama di Papua.”
Kunjungan ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran dan keahlian para calon ekonom dalam memahami tantangan fiskal di Papua serta bagaimana desentralisasi fiskal bisa menjadi kunci dalam mendorong pembangunan yang lebih merata di seluruh wilayah Indonesia, termasuk Papua.
